SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
|

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 204.
|
 
|
AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council of the
|
 
|
town of Kensington, Montgomery County, to borrow money
|
 
|
on the credit of said town for the purpose of constructing
|
 
|
a system of water works, and sewerage, and electric lights,
|
 
|
if the amount appropriated be sufficient, and to redeem all
|
 
|
of the bonds' of said town issued under previous Acts, and
|
 
|
to levy taxes on the assessable property of the said town to
|
 
|
repay the money borrowed and interest thereon, and to
|
 
|
submit the same to a vote of the real property owners
|
 
|
residents of said town.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
land, That the Mayor and City Council of the town of Ken-
|
Water works
and sewerage
|
sington, in the county of Montgomery, be and they are hereby
|

authorized to construct a system of water works and sewerage

Md.
