SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Board of Supervisors

of the names of all persons residing within the limits of that

portion of the Third Election District hereby placed in Elec-

off as aforesaid to be transcribed to the registration books of
|
 
|
the third precinct of the First Election District.
|
 
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That due notice shall be given by
|
 
|
said Board of Election Supervisors to all persons affected or
|
 
|
changed from said Third Election District of said First Elec-
|
 
|
tion District, as provided for in this Act.
|
 
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
|
 
|
from the date of its passage.
|
 
|

AN ACT to repeal, amend and re-enact Section 129 of Arti-
|
 
|
cle 27 of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Crimes and
|
 
|
Punishments," sub-title "Gaming," as enacted by Chapter
|
 
|
348 of the Acts of 1900.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|

land, That Section 129 of Article 27 of the Code of Public

General Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Gam-
|
 
|
ing," as enacted by Chapter 348 of the Acts of 1900, be and the
|

same is hereby repealed, amended and re-enacted so as to read
|
 
|
as follows :

129. Any person who shall play for money or any other
|

thing, the game called "Thimbles" or what is called the "Lit-

gambling.

tle Joker" or at dice, or the game commonly called "Crap,"
|
 
|
or any other device or fraudulent trick whatsoever, on convic-
|
 
|
tion thereof, shall be imprisoned not less than six months nor
|
 
|
more than two years in the Maryland House of Correction or
|
 
|
fined not exceeding one hundred dollars, or both, in the dis-
|
 
|
cretion of the court.
