as now exists by law ; and to require the Supervisors of

Elections to appoint election officials for said two districts
|

hereby established.

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
Division of
|
land, That Princess Anne Election District No. I be and the
|
election dis-
trict.
|
same is hereby divided, and that two new election districts be
|
 
|
and they are hereby laid out and established in Somerset
|
 
|
County of said Princess Anne Election District No. I of said
|
 
|
county, one of said districts, hereby established to be called
|
 
|
and known as West Princess Anne Election District No. I,
|
 
|
and to embrace, comprise and include all that territory now
|
 
|
known as Precinct No. 1 of Princess Anne Election Dis-
|
 
|
trict No. 1, that is to say, all that part of Princess Anne
|
 
|
Election District No. 1 lying and being situate west of
|
 
|
that certain line beginning where the line of the Crisfield
|
 
|
branch of the New York, Philadelphia and Norfolk Railroad
|
 
|
crosses the southern extremity of said Princess Anne Election
|
 
|
District No. 1, thence running in a northerly direction by and
|
 
|
with said railroad to the point where the old county road, at
|
 
|
or near the southern extremity of Main street in the town of
|
 
|
Princess Anne, intersects said railroad, thence by and with
|
 
|
said Main street through said town of Princess Anne and by
|
 
|
and with the county road extension of said Main street to
|
 
|
the point where said county road first crosses said railroad
|
 
|
near the residence of George T. McClemmy, thence by and
|
Boundaries.
|
with said railroad through the remainder and to the northern
|
 
|
extremity of said district ; and the other of said new districts
|
 
|
hereby established, to be called and known as East Princess
|
 
|
Anne Election District No. 15, and to embrace, comprise and in-
|
 
|
clude all that part of said Princess Anne Election District No.
|
 
|
1 which is now known and called Precinct No. 2 of said Prin-
|
 
|
cess Anne Election District No. 1, and lying and being situate
|
 
|
to the eastward of the aforesaid divisional line.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Governor, by and with
|

the advice and consent of the Senate, shall biennially name
|
of magis-
trates and

and appoint, as other magistrates are named and appointed,

constables.

two justices of the peace for each of said newly established

|
election districts, and the County Commissioners shall appoint,
|
 
|
as other constables are appointed, one constable for each of
|
 
|
said newly established election districts.

Temperance
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all temperance legislation
|
legislation to
continue in
|
commonly called local option laws, and all other local laws, now
|
force.
