shall be the duty of the three newly-elected Councilmen at

 

their first regular meeting to designate by lot two of their

 

number to remain in office for two years.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 154.

 

AN ACT to repeal Sections 49 and 50 of Article 25 of the

 

Public General Laws of Maryland, title "County Commis-

 

sioners," sub-title. "Draining Lands," as amended by the

 

Act of 1892, Chapter 649, so far as the same apply to tax

 

ditches or drains situate wholly within Somerset County,

 

and to enact in lieu thereof certain provisions applicable to

 

tax ditches or drains situate wholly within said county.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

Draining

land, That Sections 49 and 50 of Article 25 of the Public

lands.

General Laws of Maryland, title "County Commissioners,"

 

sub-title "Draining Lands," as amended by the Acts of 1892,

 

Chapter 649, so far as the same apply to tax ditches and drains

 

situate wholly within Somerset County, be and the same are

 

hereby repealed, and in lieu thereof the following sections be

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That the County Commissioners
