the stock and the estate and funds in the hands of such exe-

cutor, administrator, guardian or trustee shall be subject to
|

the liability imposed upon the holders of said shares. And
|
 
|
the liability of such stockholders shall be an asset of the
|
 
|
corporation for the benefit ratably of all the depositors and
|
 
|
creditors of any such corporation, if necessary, to pay the
|
 
|
debts of such corporation, and shall be enforceable only by
|
 
|
appropriate proceedings by a receiver, assignee or trustee of
|
 
|
such corporation acting under the orders of a court of compe-

CHAPTER 102.

AN ACT to authorize James M. Budd to build a wharf at

Budd's Landing, on the Cecil County side of the Sassafras

river.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|

build a wharf.

land, That James M. Budd be and he is hereby authorized

to build a wharf at Budcl's Landing, on the Cecil County
|
 
|
side of Sassafras river, on his property in Cecil County, border-
|
 
|
ing on said river; provided, however, that said wharf shall
|
 
|
not extend beyond the northern edge of the charm el of said
|
 
|
river and shall not be constructed upon the property of any
|
 
|
other person or so as to interfere with the navigation of
|
 
|
said river or the riparian right of adjoining owners of land.
|
 
|
Siic. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect
|
 
|
from the date of its passage.
