SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|

wage-workers, whether skilled or ordinary laborers, engaged

in manual or clerical work, in the business of mining, manu-

facturing, operating- a steam or electric railroad, street railway,
|
 
|
telegraph, telephone or express company, shall make payment
|
 
|
in lawful money of the United States semi-monthly to said em-
|
 
|
ployees, laborers and wage-workers, or to their authorized
|
 
|
agents, at their respective places of employment, at intervals
|
 
|
of not more than sixteen days and not more than fourteen days.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That in case of any said corpora-
|

fuse to make payment at the times set forth in Section i of this

liable to indictment therefor, and, upon conviction, shall be

fined a sum not exceeding two hundred dollars for each offense.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
|
 
|
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to incorporate the town of Myersville, in Frederick
|
 
|
County, Maryland.
|
 
|
SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|

land, That the inhabitants of the village of Myersville and its

vicinity, in Frederick County, are a body corporate by the name

of "Burgess and Council of Myersville," and by that name may

have perpetual succession, sue and be sued, and have and use

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the taxable limits of the said
