CHAPTER 642.

 

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 426 oi the Acts of 1898, entitled

 

"An Act to extend the corporate limits of the City of Cum-

 

berland, Maryland, and to provide for the extension of

 

Washington street to said limits as extended, and. for the

 

grading, paving, and otherwise improving said Washing-

 

ton street as extended, and Brook avenue lying within

 

the present city limits and contiguous to said proposed ex-

 

tension," and to enact the following in lieu thereof: "An

 

Act to extend the corporate limits of the City of Cumberland

 

and to provide for the extension, laying off, grading, paving

 

and otherwise improving of Washington street from the

 

west side of lot No. 72 (in Read's addition to the City of

 

Cumberland) in a westerly direction about twenty-one hun-

 

dred feet to Sulphur Springs Hollow road, at a point to be

 

determined by the Commissioners appointed under this Act."

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That the city limits of Cumberland, Maryland, as now
constituted, be and the same are hereby extended so as to in-
