CHAPTER 627.
|
|
|
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Talbot
|
|
|
County, in the State of Maryland, and the Commissioners of
|
|
|
the town of Oxford, in their discretion, to construct a draw-
|
|
|
bridge across Town creek, in said county, at the foot of
|
|
|
Market street, in the town of Oxford, and to levy taxes on
|
|
|
the assessable property of said county to pay for construct-
|
|
|
ing the same.

|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|

land, That the County Commissioners of Talbot County and

by authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to construct
|

a drawbridge across Town creek, in the town of Oxford, in

said county, at a point at the foot of Market street, in the said

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said County Commis-
|
|

authorized and empowered to levy upon the assessable property
|
|
bridge.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 628.
|

|
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for the maintenance
|
|
|
of the Fifth Regiment Armory.
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|

land, That for the purpose of maintaining the Fifth Regiment

Armory until the thirtieth of September, 1906, the sum of four

State, on warrant of the Comptroller, shall disburse the said

sum to and upon the order of the board of trustees of the

Fifth Regiment Armory for the purpose herein specified.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
|
|
|
from and after the first day of October, 1904.
|
