13. three justices of the peace and three constables; for Elec-

 

tion District No. 14, five justices of the peace and two con-

 

stables; for Election District No. 15, seven justices of the

 

peace and three constables ; but the County Commissioners may

 

in their discretion, upon the expiration of the terms of the

 

constables who are in office at the time of the passing of this

 

Act or who may hereafter be appointed under this Act ap-

 

point a less number of constables for any election district than

 

the number hereinbefore named ; provided, that there shall al-

 

ways be at least one constable in each of said election districts.

 

138. Each of said justices of the peace, before entering upon
the duties of his office, shall give to the State of Maryland

curity to be

for and pay over to the County Commissioners of Baltimore
County, or to whomsoever else may be hereafter or otherwise
