detailed estimate, together with the new rate of taxation, shall

be published twice in a newspaper published and printed in

detailed estimate shall thereby be and become the appropria-

tion of the respective amounts for the respective purposes

therein stated, and the Council shall not audit, nor shall the
|
 
|
clerk draw or sign, any check in payment of any claim, unless
|
 
|
an appropriation therefor shall have been duly made in ac-
|
 
|
cordance with this Act, and said check shall be counter-
|
 
|
signed by the Mayor of said town. The Council shall an-
|

nually prepare and publish, not later than the first day of

AN ACT to create an additional Election District, to be

known as District 27, Allegany County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the Board of Election Supervisors in and for Alle-

No. 27, said district to be so divided that there shall be not

less than 150 voters at the time of said division in said district,

and the manner and course of their proceeding in said divi-

sion shall be as follows: On or before the first day of July,
|
 
|
1904. said Supervisors of Elections shall divide said district
|
 
|
as nearly as may be by metes and bounds, and shall insert a
|
 
|
description of said district in two papers of general circulation
|
 
|
in said Allegany County once a week for three successive
|
 
|
weeks before the first day of August, 1904, and on or be-
|
 
|
fore the first day of August, 1904, shall file a copy of said
|
 
|
notice and description and the printer's certified thereto
