the work done by said road supervisors, and use any and all

 

efforts in the interest of good roads and economy and for the

 

purpose of making said reports. He shall attend weekly the

 

meetings of the County Commissioners, if required, and he

 

shall give bond in the sum of one thousand dollars for the faith-

 

ful performance of his duties, said bond to be approved by the

 

County Commissioners.
