        We do hereby certify that the above is a true List of the Person
put in nomination and voted for by the Electors of President and
Vice President of the United States, in and for the State of Maryland,
and the number of votes by him received.
                Witness our Hands and Seals, this Second day of December
Eighteen Hundred and Forty.



        List of the Person voted for as Vice President of the United States
of America, by the Electors of President and Vice President of the
United States, in and for the State of Maryland.
        John Tyler, of the State of Virginia received Ten votes as
Vice President of the United States of America.
        We do hereby certify that the above is a true list of the Person
put in nomination and voted for by the Electors of President
and Vice President of the United States, in and for the State of
Maryland, and the number of votes by him received.
