                Witness our hands and Seals this first Wednesday and third day of
                December, Eighteen Hundred and Eighty four.






List of the person voted for as Vice President of the United States of
America by the Electors of President and Vice President of the United
States, in and for the State of Maryland.  Thomas A. Hendricks of the
State of Indiana, received eight votes for Vice President of the United
States of America.
No other person was voted for.
We hereby certify, that the above is a true list of the person voted for by
the Electors of President and Vice President of the United States, in and for
the State of Maryland, and of the number of votes by him received.
                    Witness our hands and Seals this first Wednesday and third
                    day of December, Eighteen hundred and Eighty four.





On motion by Mr. Wilmer the foregoing forms were read adopted
to three Certificates prepared by the Secretary according to the aforegoing forms the
Secretary attached severally one of the Certificates furnished by the Executive
Authority of the State in obedience to the Revised Statute of the United States
Title 3, chapter 1, Section 138.
The said Certificates together with the Lists were duly Signed and Sealed by
the Electors they were then folded and Sealed and endorsed with the following
memorandum signed by each Elector.
