That we then and there proceeded to vote by Ballot, in pursuance of the Constitution
and Laws of the United States for President of the United States, and on
Counting the Ballots it was ascertained that Grover Cleveland, of the State
of New York had received eight votes for President of the United States, and
that no other person was voted for.
We further certify that Thomas A. Hendricks of the State of Indiana was
then and there put in nomination for Vice President of the United States,
for four years from and after the third day of March next ensuing.
                                    That we then and there in pursuance of the Constitution
and the Laws of the United States, proceeded to vote by Ballot for Vice
President of the United States, and that on Counting the Ballots it was
ascertained that Thomas A. Hendricks of the State of Indiana
had received eight votes for Vice President of the United States of America,
and that no other person was voted for.
            We further certify that there were distinct Ballots for President
and Vice President.
The annexed distinct Laws of the said persons with the votes given to
the same are hereby returned by us the Electors of President and Vice
President of the United States in and for the State of Maryland, in
pursuance of the Constitution and Laws of the United States, as
having the aforesaid number of votes.
Done at the City of Annapolis, on this first Wednesday of December,
being the third day of said Month, in the year Eighteen hundred and eighty
four.
In Witness whereof, we hereunto subscribe our hands and affix our Seals.








List of the person voted for as President of the United States of
America, by the Electors of President and Vice President of the United
States, in and for the State of Maryland.  Grover Cleveland of the
State of New York received eight votes for President of the United
States of America.
No other person was voted for.
We hereby certify that the above is a true list of the person voted
for by the Electors of President and Vice President of the United
