CHAP. LXXXIII.
An ACT to repeal part of an act, entitled, An act to continue
the acts of assembly therein mentioned. |
Part of an act
repealed. |
BE it enacted,
by the General Assembly of Maryland, That all that part of
the act before mentioned, made and passed at a session of assembly begun
and held at the city of Annapolis on Monday the fifth of November,
seventeen hundred and eighty-seven, which continues an act, entitled, An
act for
licensing and regulating ordinary keepers, be and the same is hereby repealed. |

CHAP. LXXXIV.
An ACT to continue the acts of assembly therein mentioned. |
Several acts
continued. |
BE it enacted,
by the General Assembly of Maryland, That an act, entitled,
An act for the preservation of the breed of fish, made at a session of
assembly
begun and held at the city of Annapolis the twenty-fourth day of
May, seventeen hundred and sixty-eight, be and is hereby continued, and
shall be
and remain in full force until the thirtieth day of October, seventeen
hundred and
ninety-eight, and to the end of the next session of assembly which shall
happen
thereafter. That another act of assembly, entitled, An act to establish
a market
in Baltimore-town, in Baltimore county, and to regulate the said market,
made
at a session of assembly begun and held at the city of Annapolis the sixteenth
day
of November, seventeen hundred and seventy-three, be and he is hereby continued,
and shall be and remain in full force until the thirtieth day of October,
seventeen
hundred and ninety-eight, and to the end of the next session of assembly
which
shall happen thereafter. That another act of assembly, entitled,
An act to
enable the governor to issue commissions of oyer and terminer and gaol
delivery
in certain cases, made at a session of assembly begun and held at the city
of
Annapolis the fifth day of November, seventeen hundred and eighty-seven,
be
and is hereby continued, and shall be and remain in full force until the
thirtieth
day of October, seventeen hundred and ninety-eight, and to the end of the
next
session of assembly which shall happen thereafter. That another act
of assembly,
entitled, An act to compel the attendance of the members of the general
assembly,
made at a session of assembly begun and held at the city of Annapolis the
fifth day of November, seventeen hundred and eighty-seven, be and is hereby
continued, and shall be and remain in full force until the thirtieth day
of October,
seventeen hundred and ninety-eight, and to the end of the next session
of assembly
which shall happen thereafter. That an other act of assembly,
entitled, An
act to ascertain officers fees in special courts, made at a session of
assembly begun
and held at the city of Annapolis the tenth day of May, seventeen hundred
and
eighty-one, be and is hereby continued, and shall be and remain in full
force
until the thirtieth day of October, seventeen hundred and ninety-eight,
and to
the end of the next session of assembly which shall happen thereafter.
That
another act of assembly, entitled, An act to repeal part of an act, entitled,
An
act for the better administration of justice, &c. made at a session
of assembly
begun and held at the city of Annapolis the third day of November, seventeen
hundred and eighty-eight, be and is hereby revived and continued, and shall
be
and remain in full force until the thirtieth day of October, seventeen
hundred
and ninety-four, and to the end of the next session of assembly which shall
happen thereafter. |

CHAP. LXXXV.
A Supplement to the act respecting the settlers on the reserved
lands westward of Fort Cumberland. |
Treasurer
may receive
from the settlers,
&c. |
BE it enacted,
by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the treasurer of
the western shore shall and may, at any time hereafter, receive from
any
of the said settlers the whole or any part of the money due on their several
contracts, and there shall not be any forfeiture of any payment already
made. |

II. Provided,
That nothing in this act contained shall be construed to affect
the rights of any person or persons who have already proclamated, or may,
after
the first day of September, seventeen hundred and ninety-two, proclamate
