JUNE, 1696 COURT 7

Grac[e] o£ Godd King of England Scotland etc. Anno Domini 1696 present
Thomas Hollyday, William Hutchison, William Barton, John Wight, Justices;
Robert Bradly, William Tennehill, David Small.

A Motion being made this day to this Court by Mr. Lumney on the behalf
of Blank Hook wife of Blank Hook that John Hook Sonne of Nathanaell Hook
had pursuant to one Agreement made Between Blank Hook Mother of the
Said John Hook being an Infant did Appeare to bind Out her Said Sonne to
Thom [as] Vawn According to Act of Assembly.

Ordred by this Court that Mary Shaw daughter of John Shaw Aged three
Year[s] or thereabouts be bound out to the honorable Thomas Brooke Esquire
According to Acct Of Assembly.

Mr. Robert Midleton haveing First taken the Oaths was Sworn One of the
Corroners of Prince George County.

Memorandum that this day Came here into Open Court Christo[pher]
Thomson and tendred Unto the honorable Col. Henry Darnall Foure Shillings
of Currant money of England As Alenation Money for One hundred Acres of
Land Lying in this County Called Largo which the Said Col. Darna[ll]
Refused to Accept of Alledging the Said Land was Escheatable etc.

[10] William Bladen Sworn Clark of the Indictments and an Attorney of this
Court; William Stone Sworn an Attorney of this Court; John Merriton Sworn an
Attorney of this Court; Christopher Gregory Sworn an Attorney of this Court;
Richard Kilborn Sworn an Attorney of this Court; Cleborn Lomex Sworn an
Attorney of this Court; Stephen Blanshford Sworne an Attorney of this Court:
Who Severally took their Oathes and Were Admitted.

Mr. Thomas Addison haveing Produced his Committion to this Court which
being read was Allowed on by the Said Court haveing first taken the Oath
was Sworn Surveyor of Prince Georges County.

Ordred by this Court that Mr. Hollyday, Mr. Barton, Mr. Wight, Mr. Bradly
and Mr. Small or any three of them Doe Order the Land Lying in Charles Town
belonging to the Church and Court be Fortwith Surveyed And Chaine Bearers
to Attend the Same.

Ordred by this Court that Mr. Sheriff Greenfield doe Atend Mr. Thomas
Addison Surveyor of this County and find Chaine bearers to Attend him in the
said Survey.

This Court Adjourned till ten a Clock to Morrow morning present

Mr. James Cranford haveing first taken the Oath Was Sworn An Attorney
