And Whereupon the Said David Small haveing Issued out one writt against
the Defendant and allsoe Caused a Coppy of the Cause of Action to be left at
the house where the Said Bryant Furgus Last Lived in the Said County of
Prince George which Said writt was Returned by the Sheriffe of Prince Georges
County that the Said Bryant Furgus was not to be found in his balywick upon
which on the part of the Said David Small it is testified here in Court that
the Said Bryant Furgus hath Elloyned himselfe out of the Jurisdiction of this
Court Whereupon the Said David Small by Joshua Cecell his Attorney prayeth
an Attechment against the goods Chatties and Creditts of the Said Bryant Furgus
as well for the Said Sume of two thowsand Seaventy Seaven pounds of tobaccoe
the Debt for damages aforesaid as alsoe for the Sume of Six hundred fifty three
pounds of tobaccoe his Cost and Charges in this behalfe Laid out and Expended
According to Act of Assembly in Such Cases made and provided and by the
Court here it is granted unto him.
