[504] And the Said John Rooke in his Propper Person comes and defends the
force and Injury when etc. Prayeth Lycence thereof to imparle here untill the
next Court comeing and it is Granted unto him the Same day is given to the
Plantiffe Likewise.

Att which day to witt the 26th day of September Annoque Domini 1699 here
came as well the Said Kathrine Willson and Joshua Cecell Plantives as the Said
John Rook in his Propper Person Defendant and the Said Kathrine Willson and
Joshua Cecell Prayeth that the Said John Rooke to their Declaration aforesaid
may answer.

And the Said John Rooke in his Propper Person comes and defends the force
and Injury when etc. and Produced an account against the Said Jonathan Willson
Deceased for the Sume of money and made Oath upon the Same that he
had not received any Part or Parcell thereof more then the Creditt he had in
those Ordinary Expences he was then Sued for, which Said account and Oath
made thereupon was by the Court thought Sufficient in Barr of the action the
Said Defendant was then Sued for:

Therefore it is Considered by the Court that the Said Kathrine Willson and
Joshua Cecell Executors of the Said Jonathan Willson Deceased Plantiffs take
nothing by their Said writt butt be in mercy for their Falce Clammor and lett the
names of the Pledges be Sought for and that the Said John Rooke goe thereof
without day.

James Moor Plantiff: Thomas Taney Defendant

It was Commanded the Sherife that whereas there was due from Thomas Taney
to James Moor the Sume of two hundred Sixty five pounds of Tobacco for a
Nonsuite he the Said Moor obteind against the Said Taney att a Court held
before the Justices of our Sovereigne Lord the King att a Court held att Charles
Towne the fourth Tuesday in March in the year 1697 And for the Said Debt
Execution hath not Ishued forth against him for the Same he make knowne unto
the Said Thomas Taney that he bee and appear before the Justices of Prince
Georges County the 4th Tuesday in August Last past to Shew Cause if any he
have why the Said James Moor Execution against him for the Debt aforesaid
Should not have and that he had then and there this writt.
