have a Free Election the Court here of oppinion that in the afternoon about two
of the Clock is the most Convenient time hee the Said Delegate bee Chosen and
Elected to Serve in the house of Assembly as one of the representatives of this
County The Court adjourned till two a Clock in the afternoon and then mett, the
Same Justices Sitting.
Then was Elected Mr. Thomas Greenfeild to be one of the assembly for this
County in the roome of Mr. William Barton.
Then did the Court adjourne untill the fourth Tuesday in August next.

Robert Wade, Mr. Samuell Magruder, Mr. Thomas Sprigg, Commissioners.

Robert Wade, Samuell Magruder and Thomas Sprigg Junior and James Stoddert
of Prince Georges County Greeteing Know yee Out of the great trust and Con-
fidence Wee have in your Fidelities Circumspections Prudences and Wisedomes
have Constituted Ordeined and appoynted and by these Presents doe Constutute
ordaine and appoynt you the Said Thomas Hollyday, William Hutcheson, John
Wight, Robert Bradley, Robert Tyler, William Tanyhill, John Hawkins, Robert
Wade, Samuell Magruder, Thomas Sprigg Junior and James Stoddard Commis-
sioners Joyntly and Severally to keep our Peace in our County of Prince George
and to keepe and Cause to be kept all Laws and Orders for the good conservation
of the Peace and for the Quiet Rule and Government of the People in all and
Every of the Articles of the Same and to Chastise and Punish all Persons Offend-
ing against the Forme of any of the Laws Orders and Constitutions of this our
Province or any of them in Prince Georges County aforesaid as according to the
forme of the Laws and Orders Shall be fitt to bee done Wee have allso Constituted
and appoynted you and Every four or more of you in which you the Said Thomas
Hollyday, William Hutchison, John Wight, Robert Bradley and Robert Tylor or
one of you Shall be allways one of the Comissioners to Inquire by the Oaths of
good and Lawfull men of your County aforesaid of all Manner of Fellonyes,
witch crafts, Inchantments, Sorceries, Magick art, Tresspasses, forestallings, In-
groseings and Extortions Whatsoever or wheresoever done or Perpetrated or
which hereafter Shall happen to bee done or Perpetrated in the County aforesaid
against the Laws and orders of this our Province provided that you Proseed not
in any of the Cases aforesaid to take Life or Member but that in every Such Case
