This Following Action was transmitted out of the Records of Calvert County
Court.
Richard Keene plantiffe: Francis Swantson Defendant.
The plantiffe Sues the Defendant for nine hundred and Sixty pounds of
tobaccoe a Certaine Debt for Damages as by Decleration fild and Account here-
after Sett downe Appeareth etc.

The plantiffe haveing Issued out two writts against the defendant both which
was by the Sheriffe of Calvert County Returned that the Said Defendant was
not to be found in his balywick and Likewise have Cause[d] a Coppy of the
Cause of Action to be left at the house were the Defendant Last Lived in the
County of Calvert before the devision of the Counties. Whereupon the Said
Richard Keene by Samuell Wattkins his Attorney prayeth an Attechment against
the goods and Chatties of the Said Francis Swanson as well for the Said Sume of
960 pounds of tobaccoe his Debt for Damages aforesaid as alsoe for the Sume of
pounds of tobaccoe his Cost and Charges in this behalfe Laid out and
Expended by the Court here it is granted unto him etc.
John Bacon plantiffe: John Wynn Defendant.
The plantiffe by Joshua Cecell his Attorney Sues the Defendant for three
hundred ninty five pounds of tobaccoe a Certaine Debt for Damages as by a
Declaration fild and Account hereafter Sett downe Appeareth etc.

The plantiffe by his Attorney aforesaid haveing Issued out two writts against
the Defendant boath which was by the Sheriffe of this County Returned that the
Said John Wynn was not to be found in his balywick but that he hath Elloined
himselfe out of this province. Whereupon the Said John Bacon by Joshua Cecell
his Attorney prayeth an Attechment against the goods and Chatties of the Said
John Wynn as well for the Said Sume of three hundred ninty five lbs. of tobaccoe
the Debt for Damages aforesaid as alsoe the Sume of pound[s] of tobaccoe
his Cost and Charges in this behalfe Laid out and Expended by the Court here
it is granted unto him etc.

The plantiffe by Joshua Cecell his Attorney Sues the Defendant for four
hundred and forty pounds of good tobaccoe Cleare of all manner of trash and
ground Leaves as by Decleration and bill filed bearing Date the 29th day of
June in the yeare of our Lord 1695: Appeareth.
And the Said Thomas Nellson in his propper person Cometh and Defendeth
