Proovd according to Law.

The Defendant in his propper person came into Court and Saith that he cannot
Gainesay the Debt aforesaid nor but that he oweth the Said Edward and Dudley
Carleton the Said Sume of Eight hundred and Seventy pounds of Tobacco in
manner and forme aforesaid etc.

Therefore it is Considered that the Said Edward and Dudley Carleton recover
against the Said Thomas Clarke the Sume of Eight hundred and Seventy pounds
of Tobacco their Debt aforesaid and their Damages by Occation of deteineing
the Said Debt to two hundred and Sixteen pounds of Tobacco to the Said Edward
and Dudley Carleton of their assent by the Court here adjudged and the Said
Thomas Clark in mercy.

[340] These 6 actions are Continued till next Court: Thomas Tench, Esq.,
against Edmundsons Administrator - Case; Trumans Administrator against
Ninian Beall-Case; Charletts Administrator against Rowlands Administrator -
Debt; Joseph Addison against William Groome - Covenant; James Moor against
Thomas Taney-Case; John Fry against Samuell Warren-Case.

These 3 actions are agreed: Deavors Administrator against Charles Hyat;
Beusey and Veich against Thomas Vaughun; John Merryton against Matthew
Mackeboy.

Richard Wakeling against William Davis-an arest of Judgment.

Samuell Warren Late of Prince Georges County Planter otherwise Called
Samuell Warren of Callvert County in the Province of Maryland was Sumoned
to answer unto Thomas Greenfeild administrator of the Goods and Chatties
of Richard Charlett Deceased of a Plea that hee render unto him the full and
Just Sume of two Thousand two hundred forty and nine pounds of good sound
Merchantable Leafe Tobacco Clear from trash and ground Leaves which from
him he unjustly Deteineth etc.

And whereupon the Said Thomas by William Stone his Attorney Saith that
whereas the Said Samuell in the lifetime of the Said Richard Charlett that is
