[339] Charles Rigby plantiffe: Charles Treacys administrator Defendant
Prince Georges County Ss.
Charles Rigby who brought the writt of our Sovereigne Lord the King against
Mr. David Small Administrator of all and Singular the Goods Chattells and
Credditts of Charles Treacy deceased of a plea of Tresspass upon the case etc. and
hath not prosecuted his Said Writt etc. Therefore he and his pledges be in mercy
etc. and the Said David Small goe thereof without day etc. it is Likewise Con-
sidered that the Said David Small recover against the Said Charles Rigby his
Damages by occation of the premises to 265 pounds of Tobacco to the Said David
Small by the discression of the Justices here at his request for his Cost and Charges
in this behalf Susteined according to the forme of the Statute etc. by the Court
here adjudged.
Att a County Court held att the Poart of Annopolis for our Sovereigne Lord
King William etc. and for the County of Annarundall the Eleventh day of
August in the Eight year of his Majestyes Reigne etc. Annoque Domini 1696 and
Continued till the thirteenth day of the Same Month before his Majesties Justices
thereunto authorized.

Howard, Capt. John Dorsey, Mr. Henry Denton, Gentlemen Justices, Charles
Vernon Clerke.
Ordered that Elizabeth Sapcott remaine in the Servis of Teague Treacy her
Master two years from the Seventeenth of February next to the Seventeenth of
February 1698 [1699] for the Charge and trouble by means of bearing a Malatto
Bastard Bastard then to deliver her to Herring Creek Vestry.

Lord Baltemore Plantiffe: Benjamin Evans Defendant
Command was given to the Sherriff of Prince Georges County that of the Goods
Chatties and Credditts of Benjamin Evans he atteach in the hand or hands of any
Person or persons in this County as well the Sume of two Thousand four Hun-
dred pounds of Tobacco due by bond as allso the Sume of three Hundred twenty
Eight pounds of Tobacco cost of Suite the whole amounting to twenty Seven
hundred twenty Eight pounds of Tobacco When he had the Same Atteached or
any part thereof the same in his hands to Keep soe that he have the same before
the Justices of our next Prince Georges Court to be held att Charles Towne the
fourth Tuesday in August next and likewise att the Executeing this writt he give
notice to all person and persons in whose hands or Possession hee atteached such
Goods as aforesaid that they bee and appear before the Justices att our next
Court to be held att Charles Towne as aioresaid to Shew cause if any they have
why the Goods soe atteached as afforesaid Should not be Condemned and Execu-
tion thereon to be had and made etc. Att which day the Said Sheriffe came into
Court and made returne atteached in the Hands of Thomas Bridges Debt and
Cost, and Summoned per Thomas Greenfeild Sheriffe.
Att which Said Day came the Lord Balltemore by his Attorney and as well the
Said Banjamin Evans as the Said Thomas Bridges Though Solemnly Called
ca[m]e not Whereupon the Said Lord Balltomore by his attorney aforesaid Pray-
