[267] These 5 Actions Are Continued untill next Court: the Same Administra-
tor against Joseph Frys Administrator - trespass on the Case; the Same Ad-
ministrator against Ruth Hydes Administrator - trespass on the Case; the Same
Administrator against Benjamin Greers Administrator - Debt 1559; William
Herbert against Henry Dreyden - trespass on the Case; John Forrest against
Thomas Keniston - trespass on the Case.
To All People to whome these presents Shall Come I Phillip Parke of the
Kingdome of England Marchant Sendeth Greeting Know ye that I the Said
Phillip Parke for Divers good Causes and reasonable Conditions me hereunto
Moveing but Espetially for and in Respect of Certaine Severall Sumes of Moneys
and tobaccoes hereafter to be Rendered and paid by Thomas Taney of Charles
County in the province of Maryland gentleman have Authorized Constituted
nominated made and ordained and by these presents doe Authorize Constitute
nominate make ordaine and in my place and Stead putt John Bird of Charles
County in the province of Maryland gentleman my true Faithfull Lawfull un-
doubted and Irrevokeable Attorney from henceforth for me and in my name
to Aske Receive gather and take all Such Sume and Sumes of Moneys tobaccoes
goods wares and Merchandizes allready due or hereafter Shall or may become
due unto me the Said Phillip Parke from any person or persons in the province
of Maryland Espetially from the above named Thomas Taney by vertue of any
bills bonds Consignments Invoyces or any other writeings or wayes whatsoever
Att the Discretion of my Said Attorney for the Recovery of all which Sumes of
money tobaccoes goods wares and Merchandizes which Shall Arrise or grow due
unto me the Said Phillip Parke by vertue of any writeings Accounts booke
Debts or otherwise that Shall hereafter grow due and payable to me from any
person or persons in the Said province of Maryland Espetially from the above
named Thomas Taney and allsoe all Such Sumes of money or tobaccoes that
Shall Accrue and grow due and payable to me by Reason of the above named
Thomas Taney dealeing and tradeing for me and on my behalfe from any
person or persons in the province aforesaid I doe by these presents give Full
power and Authority unto the Said John Burd for me and in my name and
to my use as aforesaid to Receive at his discretion and upon non payment of
them or any of them to bring Sue and procecute for me and in my name all
and all manner of Actions whatsoever as well Reall as personall and the Same
to procecute and follow by Suite Arrest Imprisinment Judgment Condemnation
Execution or otherwise and one Attorney or more for the doeing of the premises
to make and the Same at his will and pleasure to Revoke and now in his or
theire place to putt in as Large and Ample manner as I might Doe if the Same
were by me in proper person done Commenced Sued or taken to the only bene-
fitt and behoofe of me the Said Phillip Parke and I doe by these presents
Covenant promise and grant to and with the Said John Bird his Executors and
Administrators that I my heires Executors Administrators and Assignes Shall
and will at all times hereafter Rattifie Confirme and Allow whatsoever my Said
Attorney Shall doe or Cause to be done in or about the premises In wittness
whereof I hereunto Sett my hand and Scale this third day of Aprill Annoque
Domini 1697.
