NOVEMBER, 1697 COURT 289

aforesaid together with one hundred and fifteene pounds of tobaccoe for his
Costs and Charges in this behalfe Sustained etc.

William Clarkson desiers his marke may be Recorded (Viz.) a Flower deluce
on the Right Eare and a Swallow forke on the Left Eare.
[266] William Clarkson Desiers his brand may be Recorded (Viz.) W C.

Richard Gambra desiers his marke may be Recorded (Viz.) a Cropp and hole
on the Right Eare and a Swallow forke on the Left Eare.

George Cole plantiffe: William Rothry Defendant.

George Cole by William Stone his Attorney Came here into Court and
Levyed here his plaint against William Rothry of a plea of trespass upon the
Case etc. And the Said Defendant Cometh not etc.

Therefore it is Commanded the Sheriffe that he take him etc. if etc. Soe
that he have him etc. at the next Court to be held here the fourth Tuesday in
November 1697. Att which Day the Sheriffe Returneth that he hath taken the
body of the Said William Rothery etc.

And because the Sheriffe hath not here the body of the Said William Rothry
therefore the Said Sheriffe in Misericordia etc.

Edward and Dudley Carleton against Charles Walker — trespass on the Case:
this Action is Strock off the Docquett.

These three Actions are Agreed: Anthony Seely against Edward Anscoe - tres-
