The plantiffe by his Attorney aforesaid haveing Issued out a writt against the
Defendant which Said writt was by the Sheriffe Returned that the Said De-
fendant was not to be found in his baliwick and alsoe have Caused a Coppy
of the Decleration and Account by the Sheriffe to be Left att the house w[h]ere
the Defendant Last Lived in this County And further it is testified here in
Court that the Said Defendant hath Elloined himselfe out of the Jurisdiction
of this Court Whereupon the Said plantiffe by his Attorney aforesaid prayeth
An Attachment against the goods Chatties and Creditts of the Said Defendant
as well for the Sume of Seaventeen hundred Eighty Eight pounds of tobaccoe
the Debt for Damages aforesaid as alsoe for the Sume of four hundred thirty
one pounds of tobaccoe his Costs and Charges in this behalfe Laid out and
Expended and by the Court here it is granted unto him etc.

The plantiffe by William Stone his Attorney Sues the Defendant in a plea
of trespass upon the Case etc. for two hundred Eighty Eight pounds of tobaccoe
as by a noate Subscribed with the proper hand writeing of the Said Souch
beareing date the fourth day of January 1696 [1697]. And Decleration being
boath filed Appeareth etc.
And Whereupon the Said plantiffe by his Attorney Aforesaid haveing Issued
out a writt against the Defendant which Said writt was Returned by the Sheriffe
that the Said Defendant was not to be found in his balywick and Alsoe have
Caused a Coppy of the Decleration to be Left by the Sheriffe att the house
were the Defendant Last Lived in this County And further it is testified here
in Court that the Said Defendant hath Elloined himselfe out of the Jurisdiction
of this Court Whereupon the Said plantiffe prayeth by his Attorney aforesaid

against the Defendant in a plea of Debt for two thowsand Six hundred and
forty pounds of tobaccoe And the Defendant in her proper person Cometh and
