the Sheriffe and made Returne of the Said writt (Endorsed on the back) Attached
in the hands of William Stone Six hundred pounds of tobaccoe And in the hands
of Robert Biggs three hundred pounds of tobaccoe and gave notice to Shew Cause
if etc. per Thomas Greenfeild Sheriffe.

Att Which day Likewise Came here as well the Said Joshua Cecell in his proper
person as the Said William Stone and Robert Biggs in theire propper persons And
the Said Richard Hulse Came not etc. And the Said William Stone and Robert
Biggs prayeth Leave thereof to Imparle here untill the next Court and it is
granted unto them the Same day is given to the Said Joshua Cecell etc.

And now here at this Day (to witt) the 28th day of September Annoque
Domini 1697 Came here as well the Said Joshua Cecell as the above named
William Stone in theire propper persons And the Said Joshua Cecell prayeth that
the Said William Stone to his writt of Attachment aforesaid may Answer etc.

And the Said William Stone in his proper person Cometh and defendeth the
force and Injury when etc. And Saith nothing in barr of the writt of Attachment
aforesaid by Which the Said Joshua Cecell Remaineth against the Said William
Stone thereof without defence etc.

Therefore it is Considered that the Said Six hundred pounds of tobaccoe be
Condemned in the hands of the Said William Stone and that the Said Joshua
Cecell have Execution against the Said William Stone of the Said Six hundred
pounds of tobaccoe Soe as aforesaid in his hands Attached etc.

Henry Fish plantiffe: William Williams Defendant

Henry Fish by Henry Bonner his Attorney brought his Majesties writt against
William Williams of a plea of trespass upon the Case etc.

And the Said William Williams by William Stone his Attorney Cometh and
defendeth the force and Injury when etc. And prayeth Leave thereof to Imparle
here untill the next Court And it is granted unto him the Same day is given to
the plantiffe etc.

Att which Said next Court (to witt) the 28th day of September Annoque
Domini 1697 here [250] Came the aforesaid William Williams by William
Stone his Attorney but the Said Henry Fish and Henry Bonner his Attorney or
Either of them Came not further to procecute his Said Majesties writt as afore-
said. Therefore he and his pledges of procecuting be in mercy etc. Lett the names
of the pledges be Sought etc. And the Said William Williams goe thereof without
day etc.

It is Likewise Considered that the Said William Williams Recover against the
Said Henry Fish his Damages by Occation of the premises to two hundred Eighty
nine pounds of tobaccoe to the Said William Williams by the discretion of the
Justices here at his Request for his Costs and Charges in this behalfe Sustained
etc. According to the forme of the Statute etc. by the Court here Adjudged etc.

Joseph Greere Administrator of Benjamin Greere by William Stone his
Attorney brought his Majesties writt against Isaack Williams Administrator of
Ruth Hyde of a plea of trespass upon the Case etc. And hath not procecuted his
Said writt etc. therefore he and his pledges of procecuteing be in mercy etc. Lett
the names of the pledges be Sought etc. And the Said Isaack Williams goe thereof
without Day etc.
