his death in the hands of the Said Christopher Thompson and Grace his wife
being to be Administred if they have Soe much thereof etc. and if they have not
then the Damages aforesaid of the propper goods and Chatties of the Said
Christopher Thompson and Grace his wife to bee Leavyed and the Said Defend-
ants in Mercy etc.

The Court Adjourned untill to morrow morning Six a Clock.

Present. Mr. Thomas Hollyday, Mr. William Barton, Mr. John Wighte, Mr.

John Hawkins, Mr. Robert Wade, Mr. Thomas Sprigg, Comisoners.

[237] Ordered that Mr. William Barton and Mr. John Wighte Cause a Roade
to be made to meet Charles County new Roade.

Ordered that Mr. Robert Wade and Mr. Thomas Sprigg Cause a Roade to bee
made from the Easterne branch of Potomock to the Westerne branch of Pat-
tuxent with all Convenient Speed.

Honnour Davis made Oath that She Attended Eleven Dayes being Sumoned for
Ninian Beall against Hugh Ryley Whereupon it is ordered that the Said Ninian
Beall pay the Said Honnour Davis for her Eleven dayes Attendance at thirty
pounds of tobaccoe for Each Day etc.

John Underwood plantiffe: John Worster Defendant

Command was given the Sheriffe that of the goods Chatties and Creditts of
the Said John Worster he Attached the Sume of three pounds Sterling and four
hundred fifty five pounds of tobaccoe Cost of Suite in the hand or hands of any
person or persons in this County And Likewise at the time of Executeing the
Said writt he give notice to Such person or persons in whose hands and possesion
he Attacht Such goods that they be and Appeare before the Justices of our next
Prince Georges County Court to be held at Charles Towne the fourth Tuesday in
September next to Shew Cause if any they have why the Said goods Soe Attached
Should not be Condemned And Execution thereon had and made etc. And that he
had then and there the Said writt etc.

Att which Said day the Sheriffe made Returne of the Said writt (Endorsed on
the back) Attached in the hands of Steven Ashby by Thomas Greenefeild Sheriffe.
And the Said John Worster and Steven Ashby although Solemly Called Came not.
And it is testified here in Court that three hundred Eighty and four pounds of
tobaccoe part of the Debt and Cost aforesaid was Condemned in the hands of
William Conly the Last Court.

And the plantiffe by William Stone his Attorney prayeth an Allowance for
the three pounds Sterling abovesaid in tobaccoe And it is granted unto him
and ordered that the abovesaid three pounds Sterling be Reduced into tobaccoe
at one penny for Each lb. of tobaccoe which Comes to Seaven hundred and twenty
pounds of tobaccoe.

Whereupon the Said John Underwood by William Stone his Attorney prayeth
that as well the Sume of Seaven hundred ninty one pounds of tobaccoe the bal-
lance of the abovesaid Sume in the writt of Attachment not yet Condemned As
alsoe the Sume of four hundred and Eighty pounds of tobaccoe his Additionall
Costs in procecuteing the aforesaid writts of Attachments may be Condemned in
the hands of the Said Steven Ashby And that the Said John Underwood may
have Execution for the Same And by the Court here it is granted unto him etc.
