Therefore it is Considered that the Said Thomas Greenfeild Administrator
aforesaid Recover against the Said Henry Pope the Sume of five hundred forty
and Seaven pounds of tobaccoe the Debt aforesaid and his Damages by Occation
of Detaining of the Said Debt two hundred Seaventy five pounds of tobaccoe to
the Said Thomas Greenfeild of his Assent by the Court here Adjudged etc. And
the Said Henry Pope in mercy etc.
Thomas Nellson plantiffe: Phillip Willesey Defendant.
Thomas Nellson by William Stone his Attorney brought his Majesties writt of
Capias against Phillip Willesey in a plea of Debt for Eight hundred pounds of
good Sound Marchantable leafe tobaccoe in Caske etc. due by bill as by Declera-
tion and bill filed Appeareth etc.
And the Said Phillip Willesey in his proper person Cometh and Defendeth
the force and Injury when etc. And Saith that he Cannot gainsay the Action of
the [232] Said Thomas Nellson nor but that the Said bill (or writeing
Obligatory) is the deed of the Said Phillip Willesey nor but that he oweth the
Said Eight hundred pounds of tobaccoe to the Said Thomas Nellson in forme as
the Said Thomas Nellson against him hath Declared etc.
Therefore it is Considered that the Said Thomas Nellson Recover against the
Said Phillip Willesey the Sume of Eight hundred pounds of tobaccoe his Debt
aforesaid and his Damages by Occation of Deteining of the Said Debt three
hundred thirty two lbs. of tobaccoe to the Said Thomas Nellson of his Assent
by the Court here Adjudged etc. And the Said Phillip Willesey in mercy etc.
Robert Brasheere plantiffe: Richard Edwards Defendant.
It was Commanded the Sheriffe that he Attach the Sume of four hundred
Seventy five pounds of tobaccoe in the hand or hands of any person or persons
in this County and that he makes knowne to him her or them that they be here
the next Court to be held here the fourth Tuesday in September next to Shew
Cause if any they have why the Said tobaccoe or goods Soe Attached Should not
be Condemned etc. And the Said Robert Brasheere have Execution etc.
Att which day Came the Said Robert Brasheere here by William Stone his
Attorney And the Said Richard Edwards Although Solemly Called Came not etc.
And the Sheriffe now Returneth that he by vertue of the writt aforesaid hath
Attached Six old Leather Chaires att 150 lbs. tobaccoe: one old warming pann
at 30 lbs. tobaccoe: one pair of Small Andirons at 30 lbs. tobaccoe: twenty Six
pound of old pewter at 156 lbs. tobaccoe: one old tinn Cullender at 4 lbs. tobac-
coe: one pair of old Sheets att 100 lbs. tobaccoe: in all amounting to the Sume
of 470 lbs. tobaccoe.
Appraised by William Jones and Samuell Brasheeres. per Thomas Greenfeild
Sheriffe.
Therefore it is Considered that the aforesaid goods Amounting to the Sume
of 470 lbs. of tobaccoe be Condemned And that the Said Robert Brasheere have
Execution for the Same goods Soe as aforesaid Attached etc.

Richard Edwards he Attach the Sume of Sixteen hundred and twelve pounds
of tobaccoe in the hand or hands of any person or persons in this County and
that he makes knowne to him or them that he or they be here the next Court to
