250 PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY

Ordered that all the Overseers of this County give an Account to this Court in
November next of all the publick Roads of this County and how the Same is kept
that the Justices of this County may Signifie the Same to his Excellency the
Governor at Annoppolis as by an Order of of Councill is Required etc.

[228] John Rooke Desiers his marke may be Recorded (Viz.) An Upper keele
and an Under keele on the Right Eare and a Cropp on the Left Eare.

Nicholas Sporne against Thomas Orton - trespass on the Case: the Defendant
by William Stone Appears to this Action as his Attorney.

To these three Actions the Defendants by James Cranford their Attorney
Appears and Imparls till next Court: John Alten against Robert Pearce-Debt
800; William Harbert against Henry Dreyden — trespass on the Case; John
Forrest against Thomas Keniston — trespass on the Case.

John Woodard against William Barton - trespass on the Case: the Defendant
by John Meriton his Attorney Appears and Imparls till next Court.

Thomas Greenfeild Administrator Richard Charlet against Joseph Greere
Administrator of Benjamin Greere-Debt 1559: the Defendant in his proper
person Appears and Imparls till next Court.

The Court Adjourned untill to morrow morning 6 a Clock, and then Satt
(Viz.)

Present. Mr. Thomas Hollyday, Mr. William Barton, Mr. John White, Mr.
John Hawkins, Mr. Robert Wade, Mr. Samuell Magruder, Mr. Thomas Sprigg,
Commissoners.

Charletts Administrator plantiff: Graves Administrator, Defendant
Thomas Greenfeild Administrator of the goods and Chatties of Richard Char-
lett Deceased brought his Majesties writt of Capias against Hugh Williams and
Elizabeth his wife Administratrix of the goods and Chatties of William Graves
Deceased of a plea of trespass upon the Case etc. And now here at this day (to
witt) the 28th day of September Annoque Domini 1697: Came here the Said
Hugh Williams and Elizabeth his wife in their proper persons and Defendeth
the force and Injury when etc.

And as well the Said Thomas Greenfeild Administrator aforesaid as the Said
Hugh Williams and Elizabeth his wife Administratrix aforesaid prayeth that the
Court here would Assigne them Auditors to Audite and Adjust Accompts be-
tween them etc. And by the Court here Auditors Are Assigned them (that is to
Say) Mr. John Wighte and Mr. William Wilkinson which Said Auditors Assigned
as aforesaid are by the Court here ordered to Audite and Adjust Accompts be-
tween the parties aforesaid And that they make Report thereof to the next Court
to be held here the 4th Tuesday in November next etc.

Charretts Administrator plantiffe: John Cooper Defendant

Thomas Greenfeild Administrator of the goods and Chatties of Richard Char-
lett Deceased brought by William Stone his Attorney brought his Majesties writt
of Capias against John Cooper of a plea of trespass upon the Case etc. And the
Said John Cooper in his proper person Appeareth and Defendeth the force and
Injury when etc. And prayeth that the Court here would Assigne Auditors to
Audite and Adjust the Accompt for which he is now Sued for etc. And by the
Court here Auditors Are Assigned him (that is to Say) Mr. John Wighte and Mr.
