166 PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY

of the Same which Said pannell being Returned and the Jurors thereon being
Called Came (Viz.)

Hugh Ryley, foreman, Samuell Magruder, John Chittam, Joshua Hall, Archable

Edmonson, Edward Willett, Edward Dawson, Thomas James, John Browne,

Daniell Danellson, Paul Busey, James Gambling, Robert Clarke, Francis

Wheeler, Daniell Connell, Richard Gambra, John Prather, William Selby,

Francis Piles, Thomas Locker. All Sumoned by Thomas Greenfeild, Sheriffe.

Which Said Jurors haveing all of them taken the oath of Grand Jury men went

out to Considder of what presentments Should Come before them and after Some

Small time Returned with these presentments following (Viz.)

[148] Wee doe present Jane Browne Servant Woman to Christopher Thompson

for beareing of a basterd Child, by William Ray Constable of Collington hundred.

On the back of the Said bill was Endorsed, billa Vera)

Prince Georges County Ss.

The Jurors for our Sovereigne Lord the King that now is for the body of
Prince Georges County for our Said Lord the King upon their oaths doe present
James Boulton late of the County aforesaid planter for that hee the Said James
att Mattapony hundred within the Jurisdiction of this Court of his Evill mind
and Fradulent Intent to deceive and Defraud others his Majesties good Subjects
of this province and to Evade his Majesties good Lawes of this province did the
30th day of July Last denye to give an Account of one of his taxables to the
Constable of the Said Hundred who Required the Same and Concealed the Said
Taxable person against An Act of Assembly of this province Relateing thereto.

[William Mitts witness] William Bladen Clerk peace.

The Said James being Sumoned by the Sheriffe Appeared in Court and it Was
Demanded of him how he would Acquitt himselfe of the premises above Imposed
upon him and the Said James Boulton in open Court Confesed that he was
guilty of the premises in the above presentment Sett forth against him. Where-
upon it is ordered by the Court here that the Said James Boulton pay for his fait
aforesaid According to Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided etc.
[Fined.]

untill the next Court: Steven Onbee against Richard Thompson - trespass on the
Case; John Joyce against John Chapman - trespass on the Case; George Burgis
against Francis Prisly - trespass on the Case; Richard Edwards against Courtny
Crotoffe - trespass on the Case.

John Soper against Thomas Date - trespass on the Case: To this Action the
Defendant by Henry Bonner his Attorny Appears and Imparles till next Court.

To these 5 Actions the Defendants by John Meriton their Attorny Appeares
and Imparls till next Court: Gabrell Burnam against Edmond Neale - trespass
on the Case; William Hunter against William Elliott - trespass on the Case;
William Hunter against John Norris - trespass on the Case; Marke Cattertons
Administrator against William Jones - trespass on the Case; John Maning against
Ninian Beall - trespass on the Case.

To these 5 Actions the Defendants in their proper person Appear and Imparle
till next Court: Richard Edlin against William Rothery - Debt 600; Edward and
Dudly Carleton against Edward Batson - trespass on the Case; Henry Sutton and
