CHAPTER 54.
AN ACT to extend the Charter of the Grand Divi-
sion, of the State of Maryland, of the order of the
Sons of Temperance, passed at December session
eighteen hundred and forty-five, chapter one hun-
dred and fifty-nine.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the act entitled an act to incorporate
the Grand Division, of the State of Maryland, of the
order of the Sons of Temperance, passed at Decem-
ber. session, eighteen hundred and forty-five, chapter
one hundred and fifty-nine, be and the same is hereby-
continued in full force, for the period of thirty years,
from the fourteenth day of February, eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-six, and until the end of the next
session of the General Assembly that shall happen
thereafter.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the General Assem-
bly, hereby reserves to itself the power to amend or
repeal this charter, or any part of the same.

Reserved.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after the date of its passage.
