contract with any person or persons who may be the

lowest responsible bidder or bidders, to build said

bridge, and to take a bond or bonds, with good and

sufficient security, from the party or parties con-

tracting to build the same, for the faithful perform-

ance of their contract.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 362.

AN ACT to make valid the bequest of Elizabeth

Stansbury to the St. Pauls Reformed Church of

Westminster, in Carroll county.

WHEREAS, by the last will and testament of Eliza-

beth Stansbury, late of Carroll county, and admitted

to probate in the Orphans Court of said county, on

the ninth day of February, eighteen hundred and

seventy-four, the sum of thirty dollars was bequeathed

unto the Trustees of St. Pauls Reformed Church in

said county; and

WHEREAS, it requires the consent of the General

Assembly of Maryland to give validity to said be-

quest; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the bequest of the said Elizabeth

Sanctioning
bequest.

Stansbury, to the Trustees of the said St. Pauls Re-

formed Church, be and the same is hereby sanctioned

and approved and made of full force and virtue in

law.
