SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to make valid the bequest of Elizabeth

Stansbury to the St. Pauls Reformed Church of

|
Westminster, in Carroll county.
|
|
 
|
WHEREAS, by the last will and testament of Eliza-
|
|
Preamble.
|
beth Stansbury, late of Carroll county, and admitted
|
|
 
|
to probate in the Orphans Court of said county, on
|
|
 
|
the ninth day of February, eighteen hundred and
|
|
 
|
seventy-four, the sum of thirty dollars was bequeathed
|
|
 
|
unto the Trustees of St. Pauls Reformed Church in
|
|
 
|
said county; and
|
|
Preamble
|
WHEREAS, it requires the consent of the General
|
|
 
|
Assembly of Maryland to give validity to said be-
|
|
 
|
quest; therefore
|
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
 
|
Maryland, That the bequest of the said Elizabeth
|
|
Sanctioning
bequest.
|
Stansbury, to the Trustees of the said St. Pauls Re-
|
|
 
|
formed Church, be and the same is hereby sanctioned
|
|
 
|
and approved and made of full force and virtue in
|
|
 
|
law.
