CHAPTER 36.

AN ACT to extend the charter of incorporation of
the New York and Baltimore Transportation Line,
which incorporation is by virtue of the act of De-
cember session, eighteen hundred and forty-seven,
chapter one hundred and twelve, passed January
eighteenth, eighteen hundred and forty-eight, and
of the supplementary act passed February seventh,
eighteen hundred and sixty-six, chapter one hun-
dred and six, at a session begun on the tenth day of
January, eighteen hundred and sixty-six.

Acts extended

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the said acts are hereby extended
so that those acts and this act shall continue in force
until the Legislature shall think proper to repeal
the same.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 37.

AN ACT to refund to Dennis Cookson, of Carroll
county, a certain sum of money erroneously paid
into the Treasury.

SECTION ]. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Treasurer of the State be and he
is hereby authorized and directed, upon the warrant
of the Comptroller, to pay to Dennis Cookson, of Car-
roll county, the sum of "two hundred and seventy-five
dollars and thirty-four cents, being the sum the said
Dennis Cookson has erroneously paid into the Trea-
sury.
