shall be hereafter known and designated by the name of " The Metropolitan Savings Bank of Baltimore, " and shall under the name last aforesaid, have and succeed to all the rights, privileges, powers and property of the said "The Beneficial Savings Fund Society of

Baltimore, " and shall be subject to all the debts, engagements, contracts and liabilities of the same last named society, it being the intent of this act to effect no other change in the said, " The Beneficial Savings Fund Society of Baltimore" except a change in the name thereof.

CHAPTER 64.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments an act of the General Assembly of Maryland . passed at January session, in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, chapter three hundred and thirty-four, approved March thirtieth, eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, entitled '-'An act supplementary and amendatory of an act passed at the present session of the General Assembly of Maryland, entitled 'An act to amend the charter of the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Railroad Company, passed at January session, eighteen hundred and forty-nine, chapter four hundred and sixty-nine, ' " and to further repeal and amend said last named act.

Repealed and amended.

SECTION 1.
