CHAPTER 14.
AN ACT to amend chapter two hundred and
eighteen of the acts of eighteen hundred and fifty-
six, entitled an act to incorporate certain persons
as Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church in
Princess Anne, in Somerset county, to be called
the Antioch Church, and to vest the property of
said church in said Trustees.

1 SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section two of chapter two hundred
and eighteen of the acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed at the session of eighteen
hundred and fifty-six, entitled "an act to incorporate
certain persons as Trustees of the Methodist Episco-
pal Church in Princess Anne, in Somerset county, "
to be called the Antioch Church and to vest the
property of said Church in said Trustees, be and the
same is hereby repealed and amended so as to read
as follows:

amended.

2. The Board of said Trustees of said church shall
consist of nine members, who shall possess such
qualifications as may from time to time be required
by the discipline of the Methodist Episcopal Church,
and shall be such persons as shall be from time to
time be chosen or appointed in accordance with the
provisions of said discipline, and persons once chosen
or appointed shall continue such Trustees until
their successors are chosen or appointed. Vacancies
occasioned by death, resignation, or otherwise, in
the interim between elections or appointments shall
be filled by a majority of the other members till a
Dew election or appointment.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall go
into effect from the date of its passage.
