CHAPTER 13.
AN ACT to regulate the pay of State's Attorney for
Cecil county.

State's Attor-
ney's fee.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the State's Attorney of Cecil county
shall receive the sum of fifteen dollars in each and
every case in which he shall appear for the State in
said county, to be levied by the county commissioners
of said county, for the use of the said States Attorney,
and that the same shall be in addition to the appear-
ance fee as now fixed by law, in each and every case
in which he shall appear as aforesaid.

In lieu of.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said amount shall
be in lieu of all trial fees, except in such special cases,
as in the judgment of said county commissioners
may require additional compensation, when said
commissioners may allow the State's Attorney such
additional sum as in their judgment may seem right
and proper.

Repealed.
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all acts of Assembly
inconsistent with this act are hereby repealed.
|
In force.
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Calvert, Prince George's, Garrett, Talbot, Charles,

from the date of its passage.
