An Act to authorise and empower the Court of Appeals for the Western
    Shore to hear and determine the matter of the Decree of the late
    Court of Appeals of June Term, eighteen hundred, between Benedict
    Edward Hall, Executor of Amos Garratt, deceased, and Administrator
   
de bonis non with the Will annexed of Peter Dicks,
    deceased, and the Representatives of Jacob Giles, deceased.

                                      CHAP. LXXXVIII.
An Act respecting the Land Records of Saint-Mary's County.  Lib.

Passed Jan. 6, 1810.
    WHEREAS it is represented to this general assembly, that certain
land records belonging to the office of Saint-Mary's county court,
previous to the revolution, are incomplete, by reason that conveyances
therein are alphabeted only in the names of the grantors;
Preamble.
    2.  BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the justices of the levy court of Saint-Mary's county be, and they
are hereby authorised and require, to cause proper alphabets to
be made to the land records, before the revolution, belonging to
the office of the said county court, if in their opinion the said records
shall require the same, and if any of the said records shall require
transcribing, the said justices shall direct the same to be done.

    3.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said levy court shall make
the clerk of the said county court such allowance for his trouble
therein as they shall think just and proper, and they shall levy, on
the assessable property of the said county, such sum of money as
they shall so allow to the said clerk, to be collected and paid over
by the collector of the said county to the said clerk.
To compensate the
clerk for his trouble.

                                           CHAP. LXXXIX.
An act for the relief and benefit of Horatio Moore, of Charles County.

Passed Jan. 6, 1810.
    BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the judges of Charles county corut, or any one of them in the recess
of the said court, be and they are hereby authorised and directed,
to extend to Horatio Moore, of Charles county, the benefit
and relief of the act of assembly passed at November session,
eighteen hundred and five *, entitled, An act for the relief of sundry
insolvent debtors, and the supplementary acts thereto, without
compelling the said Horatio Moore to produce any evidence of his
having resided within the state of Maryland for the two years last
previous to his application for the benefit thereof, in the same manner
as if he had actually resided within this state agreeably to the
provisions of the said act, and the supplementary acts thereto.
Benefit of insolvent

extended to him.

                                                CHAP. XC.
An Act to authorise and empower the Justices of the Levy Court of
    Dorchester County to assess and levy a sum of Money for the purpose
    therein mentioned.

    WHEREAS it hath been represented to this general assembly,
that the records of Dorchester county and of Caroline county, before
the division of the counties, are unsafe and liable to be destroyed,
by reason of a private framed dwelling-house being contiguous
