An Act for the benefit of the Corporation of the Roman Catholic Clergymen.

    WHEREAS Germain Barnaby Betouzey, by his petition to this
general assembly, hath set forth, that the corporation of the Roman
catholic clergymen are possessed of a tract of land called Carrollsburg, 
and part of another tract called Cheney's Adventure,
lying and being in Prince-George's county, and that a vacancy was
discovered and taken up between the same by a certain Colmore
Duvall, which vacancy was afterwards purchased by the said Germain
Barnaby Betouzey, and praying that he may be authorised
to transfer his title to the same to the said Roman catholic clergymen;
and the prayer of the petitioner appearing reasonable, therefore,
Preamble.
    2. BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the said Germain Barnaby Betouzey, be and he is hereby authorised
to convey and transfer unto the said corporation of the Roman
catholic clergymen, all his right, title and interest, in and to
the aforesaid vacancy, to be held, occupied and enjoyed, by the
said corporation, and their successors, in the same manner, and
for the same uses and purposes, that other lands are held or occupied
and enjoyed by them, under an act of assembly †, entitled, An
act for securing certain estates and property for the support and
uses of ministers of the Roman catholic religion.

    WHEREAS it is represented to this general assembly, by the petition
of sundry inhabitants of Baltimore county, that a road leading
from Frederick Smith's, on the York-town road, to the centre
of a forty-seven feet street, lately laid out as a cross street by the
trustees of Zion church, then from the west end of said street to
the Frederick county line, in a direction towards Westminster, in
Frederick county, would be of great utility and advantage; therefore,
Preamble.
    2.  BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
John Wampler, Peter Sentz, of Christian, and George Grouce, be
and they are hereby appointed commissioners to survey, lay out,
straighten and amend, at the expense of such persons who may
think proper to contribute thereto, a road,  not exceeding thirty feet
in width, in the straightest and best direction the nature of the
Commissioners
