CHAP. 63.

                                LAWS OF MARYLAND.

thence running with the outlines of the said town to the sixth, seventh,
eighth and ninth boundaries thereof, and from thence running
with the home line of the said town to the said beginning stone; and
the said commissioners shall also cause the said survey to be divided
and laid out into lots, streets and alleys, as directed by the
said Robins Chamberlaine, when he caused the same to be surveyed,
and the said lots, streets and alleys, to be marked, distinguished
and known, by proper stones and boundaries, and by proper numbers
and names.

Surveyor to be appointed.     3.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said commissioners, or the
major part of them, shall appoint a skilful surveyor to make the
said survey, and to divide and lay out the said lots, streets and alleys,
and shall allow and pay him his reasonable account for this
services in the execution of this act.
Who shall lay out
the lots, &c. under 
the direction
of the commissioners.
    4.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said surveyor shall make the
said survey, and divide and lay out the said lots, streets and alleys,
under the direction of the said commissioners, and shall make a
fair and distinct plot of the said survey, and of the said lots, streets
and alleys, and a plain certificate of the whole, and of every subdivision
thereof, in a well bound book, and shall return the same to
the said commissioners, who shall thereupon examine, certify, and
subscribe the same, and cause the same to be delivered to the clerk
of Talbot county, to be safely kept in his office, and the said book
shall from thenceforth be deemed, considered and held, as a land
record book, containing an authentic record of the said survey, and
of the several lots, streets and alleys, into which the same shall be
divided and laid out as aforesaid.
After being surveyed,
&c. to be
deemed and taken
as part of the 
town of Easton.
    5.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That immediately after the said parcel
of land shall be so surveyed, laid out and bounded, the same shall
be deemed, reputed, considered and taken, as part of the said town
of Easton, to every intent and purpose, and in like manner as if
the same had been originally included within the limits thereof
when the said town was erected; and the owners and inhabitants of
the said parcel of land shall have and enjoy all and singular the
same rights, immunities and privileges, which are held and enjoyed
by the owners and inhabitants of the said town, under and by
virtue of the several laws for regulating and improving the same;
and the said parcel of land, and the owners and inhabitants thereof,
shall be and they are hereby placed under the jurisdiction and government
of the commissioners of the said town, and shall be subject
to, and bound by, the several regulations, laws and ordinances,
of the said commissioners, in the same manner, and to the like
intent and purpose, as the said town, and the owners and inhabitants
thereof, insomuch that the owners and inhabitants of the said 
parcel of land are, by virtue of this act, associated with the owners
and inhabitants of the said town, and incorporated together,
to every intent and purpose, as if the said parcel of land had been
included within the limits of the said town at the several periods
when laws have been passed for regulating and improving the same.
Streets, &c. to be
subject to jurisdiction
of commissioners, &c.
    6.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That the streets and alleys to be so
laid out in the said parcel of land, as well as the streets, lanes and
alleys, of the said town, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the
said commissioners, and shall be cleared, repaired and improved,
in such manner as is already, or shall hereafter, be provided by
