At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, begun
    and held at the City of Annapolis, on Monday, the 5th
    of November, in the year of our Lord 1804, and ended
    the 20th day of January, 1805,

                    THE FOLLOWING LAWS WERE ENACTED, TO WIT:

                                            CHAPTER. I.
An Act to settle and ascertain the Salary of the Members of the Council

CHAP. I.

Passed Jan. 5, 1805.
 

    BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
each member of the council shall be entitled to receive, for the ensuing
year, the sum of two hundred pounds current money for his
salary.
Salary ascertained.

                                            CHAP. II.
An Act for the relief of James Gantt, an Insolvent Debtor, of Prince-George's

                                            CHAP. V.
An Act to authorise the Levy Court of Saint-Mary's County to assess
    and levy a sum of money for the support and maintenance of John
    Tuel.  Lib. JG. No. 4, fol. 532.
Passed Jan. 5, 1805.
    WHEREAS Mary Anne Tuel, of St. Mary's county, hath set
forth by her petition to the general assembly, that she is a poor
widow, with several children, that one of her said children called
John, hath the misfortune to be an idiot, and is now about twenty-six
years old, incapable of doing any kind of labour, and requires
one person constantly to attend him, and praying the levy court of
the said county may be authorised to assess and levy annually a sum
of money for his support;
Preamble.
    2.  BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the levy court of St. Mary's county are hereby authorised and required
to levy, annually, on the assessable property of the said
Levy authorised
for his support.
