RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore
pay to
John D. Jaquet, a sergeant in the revolutionary war, annually in
quarterly payments, the half pay of a sergeant for life, as a further
remuneration for those services by which his country has been so
essentially benefitted. |

is hereby directed to pay to Joseph Clewley, of Montgomery county,
a soldier in the revolutionary war, or to his order, annually in

private, for those services by which his country has been so essentially
benefitted. |

requested to transmit to the executive of Virginia a copy of the
act entitled, An act for erecting a bridge over the River Potomac,
with a request that the same be laid before the legislature of said

WHEREAS, it appears to this general assembly, that
James Wilkinson,
an officer of the revolutionary war, and who served to its
termination, did not receive the commutation money of five years
