APPENDIX——RESOLUTIONS.
RESOLVED, That the sum of twenty thousand dollars
be, and
the same is hereby appropriated to carry these resolutions into effect;
and the treasurer of the western shore is hereby ordered to
pay the said sum of money to the order of the governor and council,
as they may require the same.
RESOLVED, That in the event of the amount of any unappropriated
money in the treasury being inadequate to the necessary
expenditure to be incurred by virtue of the foregoing resolutions,
the treasurer of the western shore be, and he is hereby empowered
and required to obtain a loan from any of the banks in this state,
on such terms as may be approved by the governor and council;
provided the amount of such loan shall not exceed the expenditure
authorised by the foregoing resolutions. |

marked. |
No. 2.
RESOLVED, That the Executive of Maryland cause the
word
"Maryland" to be marked on all arms and accoutrements, now in
the several armouries of this state, and which may hereafter be received. |

No. 3.
WHEREAS it appears by a report made by the governor
and council,
to the general assembly, at the last November session, that a
great number of the arms belonging to the state has been delivered
out at different times by orders of the governor and council to officers
of the militia, and it is deemed expedient at this time to know
the state and condition of said arms; therefore, |
Return of public
arms, &c. required. |
RESOLVED, That the governor and council be, and
they are
hereby authorised and required, to make application to all those
officers (or their representatives,) who have received arms or accoutrements
of the state, requiring them to make immediate report
of the number, state and condition of the said arms and accoutrements,
and where the same are now deposited; that the governor
and council report to the next general assembly, the result of said
applications. |

the Votes and
Proceedings. |
No. 4.
RESOLVED, That it is the duty of the printer of
the state to print
a sufficient number of copies of the votes and proceedings of the
legislature of this state, at its last session, for each justice of the
peace of the state. |

Relative to the
old six per cent,
and deferred
stocks of the U.
States. |
NOVEMBER SESSION, 1812.
No. 1.
RESOLVED, That Benjamin Harwood, trustee and treasurer
for
the state of Maryland be, and he is hereby authorised and directed
to subscribe in the manner prescribed by the act of congress,
entitled, An act authorising a subscription for the old six per cent.
and deferred stocks, and providing for the exchange of the same,
passed on the 6th day of July, 1812, for the whole amount of said
stocks belonging to the state, and receive new certificates for the
same, agreeably to the provisions of the above recited act. |
