No. 37.
RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore
be, and he
is hereby authorised and required to pay annually, in quarterly
payments, to Zadok Harvy of Dorchester county, an old revolutionary
soldier, the half pay of a private during the remainder of
his life, as a remuneration for his meritorious services. |

No. 38.
RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore
be, and he
is hereby directed to pay to the governors and visitors of Saint
John's College annually, or to their order, the sum of one thousand
dollars, as a donation to said College. |

School. |
No. 39.
RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore
be, and he
is hereby directed to pay to the trustees of Hillsborough School,
in Caroline county, on the first Monday of October annually, or
to their order, the sum of five hundred dollars, as a donation to
said school. |

Proctor. |
No. 40.
RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore
be, and he
is hereby directed and required to pay to Richard Proctor, late a
private in the revolutionary war, belonging to the Maryland line,
or to his order annually, in quarterly payments, a sum of money
equal to the half pay of a private, as a provision to him in his indigent
situation and advanced life, and as a further remuneration
to him for those services by which his country has been so essentially
benefitted. |

West Nottingham
academy. |
No. 43.
RESOLVED, That so soon as the trustees of the West
Nottingham
Academy, in Cecil county, shall have completed the buildings
for the reception of students, and the same being certified under
seal of the corporation thereof to the treasurer of the western
shore, then and in that case it shall be the duty of said treasurer,
and he is hereby authorised and directed to pay annually to the
said trustees, or their order, out of any unappropriated money in
the treasury, the sum of three hundred dollars as a donation to
said academy. |

Cumberland road. |
No. 44.
RESOLVED, That the county court of Allegany county
be, and
they are hereby required to contract with some person or persons,
taking bond with security for due performance, for the expending
of four thousand dollars in such manner as the county court shall
direct, and to the best advantage in opening and making passable
the road already laid off and located from Hancock-Town, in
Washington county, to Cumberland in Allegany county, which
said sum the treasurer of the western shore is hereby directed and
required to pay to the order of said court, out of any unappropriated
money in the treasury. |

academy. |
No. 45.
RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore
be, and he
is hereby directed to pay to the trustees of a school now building
in the town of Cambridge, Dorchester county, on the first Monday
of October annually, or to their order, the sum of five hundred
dollars, as a donation to said school; provided the school shall
be completed before the first day of October eighteen hundred and
twelve. |
