ROADS IN FREDERICK
            COUNTY

            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    A road to be opened from near the old glass works
called New Bremen, to intersect the turnpike road
at New Market—damages to be assessed,
    The road from Baltimore, through New Market,
Frederick and Middle-town, &c. confirmed,
    A road to be opened from S. Reynold's tavern to
intersect the new main road from Taney-town to
Westminster and Baltimore,
—From Emmitsburgh through the South Mountain
to the road from Hager's-town to Baltimore,

    A company incorporated to make a turnpike
road from Westminster through Harman's gap, to
Hager's-town in Washington county,

    A road to be laid out from Ungefear's blacksmith's
shop, on the old road from Liberty town to Baltimore,
to intersect the Baltimore and Reister's-town turnpike
road, at or near the west end of Westminster,
    Provision for payment of damages on part of the
Baltimore and Reister's-town turnpike road,
    A lottery authorised for opening and clearing the
road from Westminster to George-town and the city
of Washington,
—The act of 1803, ch. 99, repealed,
    A road to be laid out from Toup's lane to Bierley's
mill, and to intersect the road from Hager's-town to
Frederick,
—From New-Town to Buckey's-town, and thence
to the turnpike road at New Market,
    The road from Trundle's farm, on Carroll's manor,
intersecting the public road at the mouth of Monocacy,
vacated,
    The directors of the Baltimore and Frederick turnpike
company empowered to extend the road to Hager's-town
or Williamsport, &c.
    A road to be opened from New Windsor, to intersect
the old Liberty road, &c.
—From J. Cain's tavern, on the Harper's Ferry
road, to Berlin,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the turnpike near Westminster to Taney town,
thence with the main street, through Emmitsburgh,
to Troup's tavern,
    A road to be laid out from G. Shaffer's to Bartgis's
paper mill, &c, to intersect the new cut road from
Frederick town, to Hughes's coaling ground,
    A cross road to be laid from L. Hughes's farm,
on the east side of Monocacy to cross the Lingamore
Creek, and thence to the Baltimore and Frederick
turnpike road,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the turnpike leading from Westminster, through
Harman's gap, to Hagers town, to Emmitsburgh,
    A lottery authorised for repairing the road from
Paul Hawk's, to the intersection of the Baltimore road
near Franklin's tavern,
    A road to be made public from Rice's mill on Catoctin
creek, as therein described, to Tramelsburgh,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the village of New Windsor, to intersect the Baltimore
and Reisters-town turnpike road,
    A road to be laid out from a point on the road from
Frederick-town to Noland's Ferry, to intersect the
road from the mouth of Monocacy to Baltimore,
—From G. Shaffer's to the new cut road from
Frederick town to Hughes's coaling ground,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the west end of Liberty-town to intersect the Baltimore
