                COUNTY

            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    A road to be laid out from Tomlinson's to Baltimore,

    The powers of the levy court extended, relative to
roads,

    The Allegany Turnpike Company incorporated for
establishing a turnpike road from the Burnt Mill, below
the mouth of George's Creek on the Potomac, to
the nearest western navigation,
    The road from Hancock, in Washington county, to
Cumberland, to be laid out and improved,
    The consent of the state given to the laying out a
road from Cumberland to the Ohio,
    An act to extend further the powers of the levy court
relative to roads,
—A supplement,
    A lottery authorised for opening a road from Western
Port, on George's Creek, to Savage River,
 
 

   Acts concerning the incorporation of a company
to make a turnpike road leading to Cumberland,
and for the extension of the charters of the
several banks, and for other purposes,
 

   The road from Hancock, in Washington county,
to Cumberland, as located by Williams and Moore, declared
to be a public road,
    Proceedings in the county court concerning the
road therein mentioned, reinstated,
    A road to be laid out from Beall-street in Cumberland,
to the Limestone Spring on Potomac, and to intersect
the Cresapsburgh road near V. Hoffman's,
    Manner of keeping the public roads in repair,
—The part of the act of 1794, ch. 52, therein mentioned,
as to Allegany county, repealed,
    A company incorporated  for making a turnpike road
from the junction of the North and South Branches of
the Potomac, through Skipton, and thence to Cumberland,

    A road to be laid out from Walker's Mill to intersect
the Frederick turnpike road,
—From Severn ferry to Patapsco lower ferry,
—From the widow Robinson's gate across Randall 
and Dobbin's mill-dam, to intersect the mountain road,
at or near the Methodist meeting house,
—From Norwood's ferry on Patapsco, to intersect
the main road from Elk Ridge Landing to the Falls of
Patapsco,
—From F. Holland's landing on Patapsco, to intersect
the main road leading from Hammond's ferry to
Annapolis,
—From Westminster to Washington and George-town,
through Anne-Arundel county, &c.
    A road to be opened by Waters's mill to Ashton's
Ford on Patuxent, &c.
    The said road confirmed, and damages to be valued,
    A road to be opened on the north side of Severn River
from a landing called Jumper's Hole, to Ashpaw's
landing on the east side of Curtis's Creek,
—From E. Brown's plantation to intersect a public
road from Elk Ridge Landing at Sandy Bottom,
—From R. Higgins's farm on the head of South
River, to a farm called Green Spring Quarter,
