    Punishment for embezzling any returns, or razing,
stealing, &c.
    See Crimes.

    An act more effectually to secure the collection of
the public revenues,

    On reversal of any judgment, the court of appeals
may give such judgment as ought to have been given
by the inferior court,
    Judgments in suits transferred to the county courts
not to be reversed for want of form in the record,
    Directions as to sending the proceedings, when procedendo
is ordered,
    Judgments on verdict not to be reversed for any defect
of form or substance in any writ, or for any variance,
or for defects in any count in the declaration, so
that there by one good count,
    If there appears to be sufficient matter of substance
in the record on appeal, to enable the court of appeals
to proceed thereon, the same shall not be reversed or
dismissed for want of form, &c.
    No judgment to be reversed in the court of appeals
because the verdict and judgment were for a greater
sum than the damages laid in the declaration, but a release
may be entered,

    Where an infant is seized of a reversion dependant on
an estate for life, the power of sale to be exercised, (as
in other cases,) on the assent of the tenant for life,
    Property in reversion in a slave.  See Negroes and
Slaves.

    Manner of proceeding where letters testamentary, &c.
are revoked, and new letters granted pending any suit,
    Where judgments have been obtaine scire facias to
issue against the executor, &c. suggesting assets,
    Revocation when to be made of the powers of an
administrator on the complaint of one joined with
him,

    Of Montgomery county—money to be levied for his
support,

    Of Baltimore county—same,

    Of Caroline county—same,

    See Allegany County.  Militia.

    Philip, and Ninian, of Anne Arundel county—money
to be levied for their support,

    Powers vested in congress respecting the repair of
the post roads,
    Provision made as to the removal of criminals from
the public roadsin Baltimore county for confinement
in the penitentiary,
    The discount on prizes in lotteries to be appropriated
to roads, &c.
    An act to regulate the manner of obtaining and altering
public roads in this state.  See County Courts.
