a public act, and to be given in evidence in justification,
&c. on the general issue, without specially pleading
the same,
—A similar provision in the act to restrain negroes
from keeping dogs, &c.
    Where persons indicted for treason or felony stand
mute, &c. the trial to proceed as if they had pleaded
not guilty,
    Under the act to regulate and discipline the militia,
the general issue may be pleaded, and the act be given
in evidence,
—A similar provision under the act to prevent trespasses
in Allegany county,
—Same, under the act for the valuation of real and
personal property,

in Anne-Arundel, Frederick, Prince-George's
