INDEX TO THE LAWS.
to be a misbehaviour in office, and liable to be prosecuted
as such,
—Neglect by county clerks to make payment of
public money before the first day of September then
next declared a misbehaviour in office,
Where county clerks after judgment,
shall not pay
the money to the treasurer for two successive terms to
which execution shall be returnable, declared to be a
misbehaviour within the meaning of the constitution,
and to be prosecuted as such,
Conviction of a clerk or register
of neglect or refusal
to provide the book, or to make the transcripts herein
required, to be deemed and taken as evidence of misbehaviour
in office, for which he may be removed,

be levied for
his support,
