    Of negroes, or other property assessed—provision
for,

    Where two or more candidates as electors have an
equal number of votes, the governor and council to
determine by lot,
    Militia companies to be divided by lot into divisions for
routine of duty, when ordered into actual service,

    A lottery authorised for finishing Zion church in
Baltimore county,
—For the public school in Frederick county,

—To raise money to improve the navigation of
Potomac river,

—For disposing of the lots in Charlottesville,

    A supplement to the act of 1795, ch. 72, authorising
a lottery in Havre-de-Grace for building wharves, appropriating
the residue of the monies,

—For finishing the Roman Catholic Church in
Frederick-town,
—For finishing a house of worship at Ephesus in
Cæcil county,
—For building a house of worship in Emmitsburgh
in Frederick county,
—For repairing a church, &c. in Cæcil county,
—To finish the Baptist frame meeting house in Baltimore
county,
    Certain lotteries authorised within the city of Baltimore,
    A lottery authorised to purchase a fire engine, &c.
in Easton in Talbot county,
—To finish the German Lutheran and German
Presbyterian Church in Woodsberry, in Frederick
county,
—For deepening and widening a well in Taney-town,
in Frederick county,

—For repairing  Shrewsbury Church in Kent
county,

—For building bridges over the Conococheague
creek in Washington county,
—For the improvement of the streets of the city of
Annapolis, &c.
    The trustees of Baltimore College empowered to
raise the sum therein mentioned by a lottery or lotteries
for erecting the necessary buildings, &c.
    A lottery authorised for purchasing ground and
building a market-house in the western precincts of the
city of Baltimore,
