            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    Any person falsely making, forging or counterfeiting,
(or causing the same,) or willingly assisting in
forging or counterfeiting any commission, patent or
pardon, or any warrant, certificate, &c. whereby money
may be drawn from the treasury, or being concerned
in printing, writing, signing, or passing the same
knowingly, with intention to defraud, to be deemed a
felon, and confined in the penitentiary not less than 2
not more than 10 years,
    Any person casting, forging or counterfeiting, the
stamp for silver plate in Baltimore, or causing the same,
or stamping any wrought plate, &c. with such forged
sale or exchange any wrought plate, &c. with such
forged or transposed stamp, knowing the same, or will
fully being in possession of such forged stamp, shall on
conviction, forfeit and pay 500 dolls. and be confined
in the penitentiary not more than 5 nor less than 1
year, and until payment of the forfeiture,

    Of Baltimore county—money to be levied for his
support,

    Of Caroline county—same

    And Isabella his wife, of Baltimore county—same,

    Incorporated, &c.
—The charter continued and extended to the st of
January 1835, &c. provided that the said bank is not
released from the terms and conditions prescribed by
the act of 1813, ch. 122,

    In banks.  See Embezzlement.
    Persons escaping from being taxed by fraud or device
in removing their effects, &c. to be charged double
the value,
    In sales of flour and whiskey, provision against
fraud,

the inspection law concerning the places for tobacco
warehouses,
    A lottery authorised for purchasing a fire-engine for
the use of Middle-town,
    The number of election districts under the constitution
changed from seven to nine,
